Gardenning at Mastung

I was in touch with Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Shahwani, District and Session Judge, a good and often visited session’s court in the capacity of Director and helped in the provision of fruit and especially Pistachio trees because its water requirement is low and they have acute shortage of water.
Yesterday on 28-8-13 while visiting Sessions Court met my dear Mr. Saadatullah Khan Bazai, he was also a plant and flower lover, always welcomed suggestions for improvement of gardens when he was in Sibi. He warmly welcomed me, whenever visited his office. I discussed the deteriorating condition of plants, I know they had water problem since 2007-08 drought spell. His predecessor had initiated the suggestion which we decided for improvement of existing and new plants. I have requested him to submit an estimate for an open underground tank where the waste water may be stored before utilizing it for irrigation of plants, trees and flowers only.
They had 1 Malis and their request was that 2 posts may be sanctioned.
It was great honor for me and All the Honorable Judges of District and sessions Courts that a new head A-1 maintenance of garden was approved by the Honorable Chief Justice and budget was released on 12-12-12, so they will improve and develop gardens in court premises.
Like many other Sessions Court they have procured many things under head A-1 maintenance of gardens and asked them to submit a list of those.

Conclusion

• The premise is old but impressive; the area is good enough but they don’t have water for lawn and flowers, after cemented storage tank it might be possible.
• It worth mentioning here that there was an old but beautiful hut of Kalat State was in good shape in the premises and need some money to repair and color it for the district Judges.
