Message by District and Sessions Judge Musakhail

The introduction of computers and the advent of the world-wide-web have changed and accelerated the flow of information in every sphere of modern life. Likewise, modern day gadgetry has made it possible for the common man living in the remotest of areas to share his views and voice with others, even those living on the other side of the globe.
Technology has indeed made its way to every nook and corner of our beloved country and despite the lack of a regular power supply; people have access to internet and seek information on every aspect of their lives including the performance of government functionaries, showing even more interest in our judicial system.
Furthermore, with the advent of judicial activism, the policy of "access to information" has led to the publication of annual progress and performance reports of the courts providing all necessary details of how courts function and essential statistics of cases depicting institution, disposal and pendency of each court.
The High Court of Balochistan under the agile leadership of honourable Chief Justice Mr. Justice Qazi Faez Isa has taken a lead in providing a congenial atmosphere to court functionaries and the general public at large; focusing court infrastructure including all necessary amenities, coupled with the fearless and expeditious delivery of justice to all.
This policy has led to the opening of new courts in the remote areas of the province and with the induction of a large number of judicial Officers, it is anticipated that the disposal of cases will improve both in quality and volume.
To keep litigants, the legal fraternity and the general public abreast of the fixation of day to day cases "cause lists" and vital statistics of case-flow management, the Balochistan High Court portal provides all the requisite details of each on-going case of every court in the province.
Furthermore, a strict vigil towards performance of each Presiding Officer and constant monitoring of the progress of each court has improved the output and the Judicial Policy Framework launched under the dexterous dictates of the honourable Chief Justice of the Apex Court of Pakistan, has helped in eliminating the old pendency issue, and Members of the Bar and Bench now strive for expeditious disposal of the cases, thereby reducing the burden of the ordinary litigant.
It is anticipated that the people will not only acquire information of interest, but will render their suggestions for improvement of the overall judicial functions.
Lastly, I earnestly congratulate the honourable High Court of Balochistan, for his relentless effort in galvanizing the judicial system in the province, and for bringing it up to par with the expectations of the public.
I sincerely pray to Almighty Allah to provide us with vision, wisdom and strength to dispense justice, without fear or favour, as ordained under the Islamic Sharia and law of the land. Long live Pakistan.
