About District Courts, Gwadar

Like other legal systems, ours has also evolved and passed through different phases and stages. Often legal systems are shaped by social norms and values. In ancient times families, elders and jirgas used to decide dispute matters. Today the courts have taken over this role, and bring justice to one and all.

Gawadar was initially governed by the laws of Kalat State largely influenced by Islamic Shariat. When Pakistan came into existence and Gawadar became a part of it, the laws in Pakistan governed all aspects of life of its people.
