About District Courts, Kohlu

A building which included one court room with offices, a bungalow and three staff quarters, was constructed and completed on the 4th of May, 2009. This building initially was used by the Judicial Magistrate Kohlu, under the umbrella of the District and Sessions Judge of Sibi.

Subsequently, when the post of Additional Sessions Judge was created on the 21st of August 2006, the same building was used to dispense justice. Still later, on the 21st of October, 2009, when Kohlu district was declared a Sessions Division, the Sessions Judge continued to use the same premises to dispense justice.

Court of Judicial Magistrate Kohlu

The Judicial Magistrate in Kohlu is working at the Tehsil Office in the Administrative building which consists of two rooms. The Judicial Magistrate Kohlu resides in quarters of the Administration in Kohlu.

Court of Qazi Kohlu

The Qazi in Kohlu also works in the Administration building at the Tehsil office in Kohlu.
It also consists of two simple rooms.

District Kohlu was declared as a Sessions Division on the 20th of October, 2009; this includes the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Judicial Magistrate and Qazi. The post of Member majlis-e-Shoora Kohlu is still vacant.
