Message by District and Sessions Judge Kharan

Science and technology during the last few decades has brought about drastic changes in the world. The recent developments in various fields particularly in the field of information technology has made life so easy, comfortable and fast that it can be said without any fear of contradiction that, "There is no better time to be alive than NOW". In the past the judicial system in Pakistan has been reluctant to accept and utilize modern devices like the internet and it has taken the courts a long time to become equipped with the tools of information technology.
And so, it is just in the recent past that under the dynamic leadership of my lord, the honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, and my lord, the honourable Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Qazi Faez Isa that sufficient funds were allocated to the district judiciary and experts in IT technology were made available. As a consequence, the district judiciary has become part of the IT world. We hope to achieve the goal of expeditious disposal of cases and better administration of justice, while striving to meet the challenges of this new century.
I would like to have the honor of thanking the Honorable Chief Justice and Judges of the Honorable Balochistan High Court, Quetta for their continuous support at the district level.
