Gardenning at Kharan


Kharan

I have been unable to visit Kharan yet, but remained in touch with the District and Sessions judge through different channels of communication. The Honourable judge has been most enthusiastic about improving the gardens at the court. We discussed at length details and plans for the gardens at the District and Sessions court.

Plants were chosen and approval was granted. The District and Sessions judge, Kharan forwarded a progress report on the 6th of April, 2012 which included the following information:

The following flowers have been purchased for the District and Sessions court at Kharan, and planted:

  • roses (quantity 65)
  • orange plants (80 plants)
  • petunia (3 pots, 12 - 14 seedlings in each pot)
  • Antirrhinum (3 pots, 12 - 14 seedlings in each pot )
  • carnation (4 pots, 12 - 14 seedlings in each pot)
  • almond trees (3 saplings)
  • Jasmine (10 plants)
  • Lemon trees (10)
  • Queen of the Night (5 plants)
  • Motia(5 plants)
  • Mulberry trees (6 trees)
  • Pomegranate trees (30 trees)
