Gardenning at Quetta
I was in touch with them Because Mr. Nazir Ahmad Langov District and Session Judge, was a good friend and often visited sessions court in the capacity of Director Floriculture and helped in the provision of flower seeds, plants and spray facility. I was really honored with Award of Recognition by the Honorable Chief Justice, for my services at court premises.
Later on Mr. Rashid Mehmood, was posted as District and Session Judge, he was also a plant and flower lover, always welcomed suggestions for improvement of garden's.
After my joining as Director Horticulture, High Court my 1st visit was to Sessions Court Quetta and found that area is not that big. They had 3 Malis and their request was a separate water connection for lawn and flowers.
There was a problem in buying flowers, tools and plants and they had a small plastic tunnel with a height of 3-4 feet.
- They don't have storagetank neither underground nor overhead
They were suggested seasonal flower seeds:
- Dianthus(quantity 10 grams)
- Escholzia(quantity 10 gms)
- Stock(quantity 10 gms)
- Pansy(quantity 20 gms)
The flower seed for summer season:
- Salvia (quantity30 gms)
- Marigold(quantity 20 gms)
- Petunia( quantity 10 gms)
Plants for pillars of building and beds of backside lawn :
- Passion Flower ( 30plants)
- Roses ( quantity 20plants)
It was great honor for me and All the Honorable Judges of District and sessions Courts that a new head A-1 maintenance of garden was approved by the Honorable Chief Justice and budget was released, so they will improve and develop gardens in court premises.
Like other many other Sessions Court they have procured many things under head A-1 maintenance of gardens and asked them to submit a list of those.
Conclusion
- The premise is old but impressive; thearea is small but lawn at back side of the building is large enough andhas room for improvement.

Visiting them mostly every day but some time on alternate day and their staff come when they need any approval, suggestions.
Kachehri, Quetta
Mr. Muhammad Zarif Baluch, Senior Civil Judge, was a good friend and very good man. I visited him in the capacity of Director Floriculture, friend and helped in deputing staff, the provision of flower seeds, plants (plants on the walls and in beds) and spray facility. I was really honored with Award of Recognition by the Honorable Chief Justice, at function in the Kachehri and specially for work done there..
Later on Mr. Muhammad Jaffer Mengal, was posted as Senior Civil Judge, he is also found of greenery flowers, a cooperative and welcomed me when ever visited with a positive mind. He appreciated suggestions for improvement of gardens.

A new head A-1 maintenance of garden was approved by the Honorable Chief Justice and budget was released, so flowers, sweet soil, Farm Yard Manure, tools etc can be purchased and improve court gardens .
They have purchased many things i.e. flower seeds, plants, saplings and accessories etc under head A-1 maintenance of gardens and requested them to submit a list of those.
Conclusion
- The building is beautifuland with a good space; room for improvement is there they needa underground water tank so they store water and they are also usingrecycled water of Mosque.
