What are the office timings of the District & Sessions Court?
The District & Sessions Courts working days are from Monday to Thrusday and Saturday and the office timings are from 08:30 AM to 02:30 PM and for Friday from 08:30 AM to 12:30. The District & Sessions Courts remain closed on Sunday.

Can I go and sit in any court room and walk around the Building?
Yes, if your case is pending then you can sit in Court room. Nonetheless, you are advised to use the sitting areas designated for the public mentioned on the map. You are also restricted to walk in the areas open to the public. Click here to find out which areas are open to the public.
Is there a place anywhere to leave my belongings?
No, due to security reason you cannot leave your belongings anywhere in the building.
In case of emergency whether any medical facility is available?
No.
Are there facilities available for wheelchair user?
No.
Where can I buy refreshment?
The court has a canteen in front of the sitting areas, serving soft drinks and snacks, water is also available from specifically installed coolers. Please click here to see location.
Are courts always open to the public? Can anyone attend court?
All courts are public buildings and almost every court hearing is open to anyone, on the principle that justice should be seen to be done. In a “closed court” the public is excluded. This may be done for various reasons, primarily to protect witnesses or any leak of sensitive information.
Is there a separate seating area for ladies?
No.
Is there any parking space at the Sessions Court, Quetta for the Public?
Unfortunately due to security reason it is not possible to park your vehicle within the premises neither of the Sessions Court building nor around the perimeter of the building.

Court Procedure
How do I find out where and when my case is being heard?
The daily cause list is posted on the notice board and on website of the Sessions Court, Quetta. If you do not see your name on the list please contact the Information desk or Reader of the Concerned Court. Information desk is near main gate of Sessions Court Building.
If my case is scheduled for 9:00 AM. why wasn’t it called until 11:15 AM?
Cases are scheduled at various time of the day. If you are scheduled to appear at 9:00 AM you can be called anytime between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM, depending on the appearance of the people in Court and the duration of each case. Please note, it is important to arrive in court on time as roll call and general information regarding court procedures and services may begin before court convenes.
Can I access my file?
You may apply for a certified copy of any application order or judgment passed in your case against a receipt issued to the copyist branch mentioning therein the date of delivery of the copy of application/order/judgment on charges thereof.
How do I find out a whether certified copy applied for in my case is ready or not?
The receipt issued to you by the copyist branch includes the date of delivery of the certified copy applied for. Please contact copyist branch location on the 1st floor of the lockup, if you have any queries or complaint you may contact superintendent of the Sessions Court, Quetta.
Where can I get the details of institution and disposal of cases?
You may find this information in the Sessions Court, Quetta website under “online case status”, case lists archive and in the data section of the Sessions Court.
What are the timing for filing fresh cases and miscellaneous applications?
The timing is from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Can I access court records online?
It is not possible to access court record online.
