Justice Mian Muhammad Rauf Atta
Justice Mian Muhammad Rauf Atta son of Atta Ullah holds an LL.B. from University Law College, Quetta, and a Master’s degree in International Relations (M.A. IR) from the University of Balochistan. He enrolled as an Advocate in 1995. He subsequently became an Advocate of the High Court in 1997 and was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2010.
During his distinguished professional career, Justice Mian Muhammad Rauf Atta has held several important positions. He served as Standing Counsel, Quetta from 23 February 2009 to 17 March 2014. He later served as Advocate General Balochistan from 15 March 2018 to 10 January 2019.
Justice Mian Muhammad Rauf Atta was subsequently appointed Additional Attorney General for Pakistan, serving from 19 August 2022 to 19 April 2024. He also served as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan in 2024.
Justice Mian Muhammad Rauf Atta was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Balochistan on 11th August 2026.
