Mr. Abdul Qayyum Lehri
Mr. Abdul Qayyum Lehri son of Malik Atta Muhammad Khan, was born on February 21, 1976, in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. He received his early education in Quetta and graduated from the University of Balochistan in 1997. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in 2001 from University Law College, Quetta. Further advancing his academic credentials, he completed his M.Phil in Public Policy from the Institute of Public Policy, Riphah International University, Islamabad.
He joined the Judiciary of Balochistan as a District and Sessions Judge in 2015. Over the years, he served in various districts of Balochistan, including Hub (Lasbela) and Kalat, where he performed his duties with dedication and integrity, leaving no stone unturned in the dispensation of justice. He also served as a Member of the Inspection Team of the High Court of Balochistan, contributing to the oversight and evaluation of judicial performance across the province.
Due to his unblemished service record and exemplary judicial performance, the Hon’ble Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan requisitioned his services. He was appointed as Registrar (BPS-22) of the Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan where he served from January 2021 to July 2025.
On July 24, 2025, he reassumed High Court of Balochistan and posted as Registrar (BPS-22) of the High Court of Balochistan, where he is responsible for both administrative and judicial functions.

He has also practiced as an Advocate of the Lower Courts and High Court for over ten years, during which he pleaded numerous landmark cases of distinctive legal importance. He also remained an elected General Secretary of the Balochistan Bar Association.
