Mr. Rashid Mehmood

Mr. Rashid Mehmood son of Mehmood Ahmed, was born in Quetta on the 28^th of August, 1963. He received his early education in Quetta completed his matriculation in 1978 and Intermediate in 1980. He did his graduation in 1985 from University of Balochistan, Quetta and thereafter completed his LLB in 1988 form University Law College Quetta. He worked under the guidance of Mr. Mohammad Riaz Ahmed, Advocate for four years.

Mr. Rashid Mehmood joined the Judiciary in Balochistan as a Judicial Magistrate in 1992. He served in various Districts of Balochistan as Judicial Magistrate, Senior Civil Judge, Additional District & Sessions Judge and District & Sessions Judge.

Mr. Rashid Mehmood became District & Sessions Judge, Sibi in May 2013. Thereafter, he took charge as the District & Sessions Judge, Inspection of the High Court of Balochistan on the 9^th of April, 2016.

Mr. Rashid Mehmood participated in various courses at Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad. He also participated in Judges Curriculum under Intellectual Property at Singapore in 2010 and Pakistan US Judicial Exchange Program held at Washington D.C in November 2015.

He took charge of Registrar, High Court of Balochistan on 29^th May 2019.
