Additional Registrar

Mr. Ghulam Murtaza son of Ghulam Mustafa (late) was born on the 25th of May, 1966 in Sibi. He received his early education in Sibi and completed his matriculation in 1982, and intermediate in 1988.

Mr. Ghulam Murtaza graduated in 1991 from the University of Balochistan, Quetta. He went on to do his graduation in Law from the Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai University Khairpur Sindh in 1995.

Mr. Ghulam Murtaza joined the judiciary in Balochistan in the year 1984, as Junior Clerk in the office of the District & Sessions Judge Sibi Division Sibi, and thereafter in 1996 he was promoted as Reader of Sessions Judge Sibi.

In 1999 the then Hon’ble Chief Justice Mr. Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry appointed him as Reader in the High Court of Balochistan, Sibi Bench. Consequently; in 2008 upon retirement as Deputy Registrar, he was promoted/appointed as Deputy Registrar, High Court of Balochistan Sibi Bench.

He was promoted as Additional Registrar in 2019 being the senior most Officer.

The judicial wing at the Sibi High Court is a focal point and is of great importance in the working mechanism of the high court. This wing is responsible for all matters relating to the administration of justice, such as, court room proceedings, issuance of notice, fixation of cases, issuance of certified copies of order sheets/ judicial records, replies and para wise comments in civil, criminal, and writ cases, printing of paper, The courts function with the support of various branches which include paralegal staff; institution branch, copying branch etc. All these branches and staff members tremendously contribute in facilitating the litigant public.
