Orientation on strengthening of ADR Court annexed Mediation in Balochistan
An orientation on strengthening of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Court annexed Mediation in Balochistan for Judicial Officers was held in Balochistan Judicial Academy on 28th and 29th July 2022 in two respective groups in collaboration with UNWOMEN. The main purpose was to sanitize and promote ADR, mechanism and highlight the practices and problems. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Gul Hassan Tareen has graced the occasion on the directions of Hon’ble Chief Justice High Court of Balochistan, Mr. Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and shared ideas, concepts and prospects of ADR under ambit of Arbitration Act.
Mr. Rashid Mehmood, Registrar, High Court of Balochistan/Director General, Balochistan Judicial Academy and Mr. Nazar Muhammed Kakar, Advisor, Balochistan Judicial Academy deliberated upon essence of event and the ADR prospects through the Annual Work Plan of Academy and obliged UNWOMEN and its alignment of events with mutual consent and collaboration.
